You awaken from hypersleep aboard KHAROS Orbital Facility, a remote deep-space installation operated by Kessler Industries. With no memory of who you are, how you arrived, or what happened to the station, you find yourself alone in complete darkness.
The facility has fallen silent. The lights are gone. Entire sections of the station lie abandoned.
Guided only by a mysterious survivor speaking through the ship’s intercom system, you must navigate the darkness using locator pulses transmitted through the station’s network. Each pulse acts as a beacon, leading you through corridors, chambers and forgotten sectors as you search for answers.
But you're not alone.
Something remains within the facility.
As you venture deeper into the darkness, you’ll uncover the terrifying truth behind the station’s collapse while avoiding the entities that continue to stalk its halls. Always searching. Always listening. Always hunting.
Will you uncover the mystery of KHAROS — and escape before the darkness finds you?
Experience terror through sound alone. Using advanced binaural audio technology, KHAROS creates a fully spatial 3D soundscape that works with any pair of headphones, allowing players to locate threats, navigate environments and survive using their hearing instead of their sight.
Choose the control scheme that suits you.
Motion Mode allows players to physically walk or run in place and turn their bodies to navigate the station using compatible device sensors, creating an intensely immersive experience.
Seated Mode provides traditional thumb controls, allowing players to explore KHAROS from anywhere while retaining the same terrifying audio-driven gameplay.
Be careful how fast you move. A stumble in the darkness could attract unwanted attention.
Every aspect of KHAROS has been created by Ghoststar Studios, including its original soundtrack, sound design, user interface, gameplay systems and technology.
KHAROS is being developed for both iOS and Android, allowing players to experience deep-space horror wherever they are.
